EASY STREET PART 3
What a weekend!! 2 quilt cams that really helped keep me focused on the tasks at hand. I made several Christmas presents that must remain “under wraps” for a couple more weeks and my reward was to give myself time to complete Step 3 of Easy Street.
I must admit these blocks gave me a bit of trouble. Haha – I kept sewing the second triangle on the wrong side of the square. It must have been a mental block of some sort because in spite of having the correct placement laid out in front of me I kept messing up. I really became quite amusing. I probably “unsewed” (the term ripped out seems so harsh) more than I sewed correctly.
The use of the Easy Angle makes this whole process so much faster, I just love that I have finally learned how to use it. Thank you Bonnie for the video on the proper way to use it, the video cleared up all of the questions that I had prior to realizing that I even had them. Here is the link http://quiltville.blogspot.com/p/videos.html. Check it out!
In the end I figured it all out and they went together.
I have a lot of hand work to do over the next few days and of course I can’t share it because then people that I love will see what they are getting for Christmas. I can’t wait to see waht Part 4 will bring us. It is so much fun to try to guess, I love the colors that we are using but it is also interesting to see what colors everyone else is using.
